The unique climate of the South West creates the ideal growing conditions for many different kinds of produce. Here at Thuringia Estate, we bring you the best and finest products.

Avocados

We have over 2,100 avocado trees on our beautiful family owned and operated Estate. Around 90% of these were planted by us, and they are yielding amazing fruits despite still being such young trees.

In saying that, we didn’t just dig some holes and plant the trees. We use regenerative farming practices to help build up the organic matter in the soil. We don’t just grow avocados, we cultivate and nurture them to perfection.

We have predominantly Hass avocados, with pollinisers like Fuerte, Bacon and Zutano.

We also have our own bee colonies to help with the pollinising.

All of these factors, along with the ideal location of our estate, come together to bring you some of the best tasting avocados in the Southern Hemisphere.

Avocado Oil Products

Along with our fresh avocados, you can now also purchase our Cold Pressed Avocado Oil and Avocado Oil Lip Balm.

The oil is cold pressed from our very own naturally grown avocados. Hand-picked, cold-pressed, bottled and labeled right here on our family Estate – by us, for you. There is nothing except pure avocado goodness in those bottles.

The lip balm is all natural and contains no artificial ingredients. It is made from beeswax and avo oil from our Estate and only has coconut oil and lavender essential oil added to it.

The lip balm is all natural and contains no artificial ingredients. It is made from beeswax and avo oil from our Estate and only has coconut oil and lavender essential oil added to it.

Honey

With so many trees to pollinise, we have quite a few bee colonies. The cover-crops that we plant also help to feed our hard working bees during the winter months.

Since we don’t use any chemicals, our bees are safe, happy and healthy.

They produce the most amazing honey. We sell raw honey in 500g and 1kg tubs.

Our honey is completely raw and unblended. Our bees feed on the avocado flowers, cover crops and surrounding Karri Forest.

We plant a wide variety of cover crops which include (but is not limited to) Fetch and Crimson Clover. These cover crops stimulate the microorganism production in the soil, regulate soil temperature, increase the water-holding capacity of the soil and help to control weeds. It also helps to keep our bees fed during the winter months.
